American Mahjong Score Tracker

Keep track of every Mahjong session.

Start tracking scores See how it works

Free, no accounts. Start a room, send your group the link, and every session you enter lives there.

Track every game or session

Open your room, add a session, pick who played, and type in each player's score. Save it and the session joins the group's record. Next week, open the same link and add the next one. Nothing to set up again.

Built for weekly Mahjong clubs

Your club plays every Tuesday. Mahjong Logbook keeps the history so you don't have to restart a spreadsheet every week.

One room is one club. The regulars stay on the roster, so entering a session is a matter of tapping who played and typing four scores. When a guest sits in, add their name on the spot; the roster keeps them for the next time they visit. Players who stop coming can be moved off the active list without losing a single past result.

Clubs that fill more than one table enter each table as its own session on the same date. Play twice a week, play once a month, skip a holiday: the record simply picks up where it left off, for as many sessions as you play.

See your group's history

Every session sits in the log, newest first: the date, who played, each player's score, and the note. Open any session to correct a number or delete it. Open any player to see the sessions they played, their wins, losses and even sessions, and how their running total has moved from one session to the next.

Filter the record by year or quarter to look back at one season, or leave it open for the whole life of the club. Leaderboard, trend chart and head-to-head views are built in as well; if ongoing rankings are the point for your group, the American Mahjong leaderboard page covers those.

Simple American Mah Jongg scoring

Enter whatever score your group uses. Card values, doubles, bonuses for a self-picked win, penalties, wall-game points, the extra your house rules add: the tracker records the number, it does not decide it.

Why not use a spreadsheet or a notebook?

FAQ

Can I use this for an American Mah Jongg club?

Yes. Create one room for the club, add your players once, and enter a session each time you play. Regulars stay on the roster, guests can be added on the spot, and the whole history stays in the room.

Do scores need to add up to zero?

Not in American Mah Jongg mode. Pick American as the style when you enter a session and each score stands on its own. The Cantonese and Hong Kong Taiwanese styles keep their zero-sum check.

Can I use my own scoring rules?

Yes. Mahjong Logbook records the score your group awards under its own rules: card values, bonuses, penalties, wall games and house rules included. It does not impose a formula.

Does Mahjong Logbook calculate NMJL hand values?

No. It does not read the card, validate hands or work out what a hand is worth. Your table scores the hand; Mahjong Logbook keeps the result and the totals over time.

Can I track the same group every week?

Yes, that is what it is for. The room keeps every session in date order, so a club that plays every Tuesday opens the same link and adds the next session. Filter by year or quarter to look at one stretch of the record.

Can I see past games?

Yes. Every session is listed with the date, who played, each score and any note, and any session can be opened later to correct a number or delete it. Each player's page shows the sessions they played and how their total moved.
