American Mahjong Leaderboard
Turn every Mahjong session into a running leaderboard.
Keep cumulative scores across sessions and see who's leading your club over time. Built for weekly American Mah Jongg clubs, leagues, recurring friend groups, and communities that play a season and want the ranking to mean something by the end of it.
Free, no accounts. A room is a leaderboard: add results, share the link, the ranking takes care of itself.
A leaderboard that keeps going
Scores accumulate over time. Enter a session and every player's total, rank, wins and losses update at once; there is nothing to rebuild and no standings sheet to redo. Play next week and the leaderboard simply moves on. After a year it is the record of the year; after three, of three.
Built for Mahjong clubs
A club is a room, and the room is the club's leaderboard for as long as the club plays. It fits however your group is organized:
- Weekly club. Same link every Tuesday. The regulars are on the roster, guests get added when they visit, and the ranking is always current.
- Monthly meetup. Fewer sessions, same idea. Nobody has to remember where the file went between meetings.
- Seasonal league. Filter the leaderboard by year or quarter and the season's ranking stands on its own, while the all-time record keeps building underneath.
- Recurring private group. Four friends and a standing game. The room is unlisted and only people with the link can see it.
Player rankings and history
The leaderboard lists every player with their total score, current rank, sessions played, wins, losses and even sessions, best session, worst session, and current streak. Sort it by any column. Retired members can be set aside so they leave the ranking but keep their results.
Tap a player for their own page: their rank in the group, their running total session by session, the sessions they played, and their record against everyone else. Recent form and the long-term record sit on the same screen.
More than just ranking
- Head-to-head. Pick any two players and compare their results on the sessions they both played, or open the matrix to see every pairing in the group at once.
- Score trends. A chart of each player's running total over time, with a table view of the same numbers, so a hot streak or a long slide is visible at a glance.
- Player stats. Games played, win rate, average result, best and worst session, current streak, and who each player does best and worst against.
- Best and worst sessions. The biggest win and the roughest session, with the date, on the leaderboard and on every player page.
- Long-term performance. Filter by year or quarter to compare one season against another, or leave the filter open for the all-time standings.
American Mah Jongg-friendly scoring
Each session takes independent point scores per player: positive, negative or zero. There is no zero-sum requirement in American Mah Jongg mode, so a group can use its own scoring conventions, whether that is card value only, bonuses and penalties on top, or a points system the club invented years ago. Mahjong Logbook does not score or validate NMJL hands; it ranks the results you enter.
Club vs spreadsheet
Spreadsheet
- Formulas to keep working
- Sorting and manual ranking after every session
- History hard to share, easy to lose
Mahjong Logbook
- Add results, ranking updates
- History stays attached to the group's room
- Everyone with the link sees the same leaderboard
FAQ
Can I use this for a weekly Mahjong club?
Yes. Create one room for the club, add the players once, and enter a session each week. The leaderboard, trends and head-to-head views update from every session you add.
Can I keep a leaderboard across multiple sessions?
Yes. The ranking is cumulative across every session in the room, for as long as the club plays. Filter by year or quarter to see one season on its own.
Does everyone need an account?
No. There are no accounts. One person creates the room and shares the link; anyone with the link can view the leaderboard and add results. The link is the only key, so share it with your group and not beyond.
Can I use my own scoring system?
Yes. Enter the score each player earned under your group's rules, positive, negative or zero. American Mah Jongg mode has no zero-sum check and no fixed formula, and Mahjong Logbook does not score or validate NMJL hands.
Can I compare players?
Yes. Head-to-head compares any two players on the sessions they both played, the matrix shows every pairing in the group, and each player's page lists who they do best and worst against.
Can I use this for a league or tournament?
Yes. A league that plays over weeks or months is a room with a leaderboard, filtered by season if you like. For a one-day multi-table event, see the American Mahjong tournament tracker, which uses the same room for round-by-round standings.
Running a one-day event? The American Mahjong tournament tracker handles multi-table rounds and cumulative standings for the day.
Just want the record? The American Mahjong score tracker page covers entering and keeping a group's sessions.
